Veterinarians

Arlyne Salcedo , DVM

Dr. Arlyne Salcedo, received a BS in Biology Magna Cum Laude from Eastern Connecticut State University and her veterinary doctorate from Cornell University in 1985. She is happy to have settled in the sunshine where she enjoys watching the Florida birding. Her cats and two Greyhounds keep her company while she studies her special interests in geriatric feline medicine, ultrasound, surgery, orthopedics and cardiology.

Kelly Carver , DVM

Dr. Kelly Carver, grew up in Kentucky and attended school at Western Kentucky University. She received her DVM degree from the University of Tennessee. She operated her own practice in her hometown for seven years before moving to Florida with her son to continue practicing Companion Animal Medicine.

Bonny Westlake , DVM

Dr. Westlake graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. She then worked in a mixed large and small animal practice in New Zealand, followed by several yearls in primarily dairy practice. She returned to the US and began small animal practice in Bremerton WA. She bought the practice and owned it for 10 years. She sold it in 2004 and then did emergency and relief work. She and her family moved to Lee County in January 2009. Dr. Westlake particularly enjoys surgery. She owns and breeds Bernese Mountain dogs and owns a terrier mix.

Jennifer Stratton , DVM

Dr. Jennifer Stratton received her Degree in Veterinary Medicine from University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. She originates from Michigan and did her undergraduate work in Zoology at Michigan State University. Dr Stratton is married to Matt, a financial planner. They have three dogs, Nemo, Gunner and Fischer, and two cats, Shadow and Strom. Dr. Stratton enjoys traveling, boating, fishing and scuba diving.

Mary E. Mouriz , DVM

Dr. Mary E. ("Mame") Mouriz was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She has practiced in South Florida since receiving her Veterinary Degree from Auburn University in 1983. Before moving to Cape Coral, she owned and operated a small animal hospital in Boca Raton Florida for 18 years. She and her husband Laz enjoy coastal living and all things nautical.

Hospital Administrator

Linda Morris , CVPM

Linda Morris, Administrator of Kindness Animal Hospital, received her degree in Veterinary technology in 1980 and served her externship at the University of Florida. She received her Hospital Management Certification in 1995. She shares her home with husband Duane, daughter Lauren, Bogie the Sheltie, and JD the Ragdoll.

Kim Blue

I moved to Florida in 1986 and have been with Kindness since 1997! I have two beautiful daughters, Ashley and Brandi. I love to go fishing and bicycling with my husband Mike. We share our home with our cat Andy.

Pat Schaller

I moved to Florida in 1981 and have worked with Kindness since 2003. I live with my husband John and two cats, Spencer and Rita.

Alicia Starr

Alicia was born in central Florida. Alicia is married with two grown sons and two grandsons. She is proud to have worked with Kindness for the past fifteen years.

Vicki Johnson

I am the receptionist supervisor at Kindness West. I joined the staff in October 1992. I love animals and have two cats and two large goldfish.

I am the receptionist supervisor at Kindness East. I have worked for Kindness since 2002. I truly enjoy working with animals and their owners.

Denise Shannon

I am the technician supervisor at Kindness West. My passion is to help animals and wildlife. I love to educate clients on their pets well being.

Kathy Brown-Rolston

I am the technician supervisor at Kindness East. Animals have always been a part of my life. I now share my home with a Jack Russell, Chihuahua mix, two kitties, a Blue and Gold macaw, an African Grey, a Moluccan Cockatoo and a pond of 18 Koi fish and two ferrets.

Allison Azzilonna

As the Kennel Director of Kindness I have a great passion for animals and managing the kennels. I have 2 dogs and 5 cats. I live with my two teenage boys and my husband.

I have been a Cape Coral resident since 1983 and have been with Kindness since 2000. My husband and I have an eleven year old beagle named Augie.

I moved to Cape Coral from Michigan 32 years ago. My husband Peter and I are "owned" by our three cats, Scar, Shiraz and Spice.

Nicole Connelley

Nicole is a native Floridian and is a proud mother of a beautiful son Tyler. She started her career at Kindness Animal Hospital in 1993 and has been a technician for 16 years now. She is very excited to rejoin the staff at Kindness to help serve the needs of your pets.

I am very dedicated to taking care of animals and making sure each one gets the best care possible. I am currently working towards earning my Certification for Veterinary Technician.

Courtney Cleary

My name is Courtney Cleary and I am from a small town in New Hampshire. I moved to Florida in September 2008 to be close to my family and escape the snowy winters.
I absolutely love working in the veterinary field and cannot imagine doing anything else.
I currently have a Doberman named Trinity, a Chihuahua named Deja, a Friesian horse named Liam, and a Squirrel named Munchi.

My husband and I moved from New Jersey to Cape Coral in 2004. As an avid animal lover I volunteered for C.R.O.W and am on the board of the Cape Coral Friends of Wildlife. Working at Kamp Kindness is a dream job and it would be my pleasure to take care of your pet while you are away.

Kathy Seymour

I have been with Kindness since 2002. I came from South New Jersey and now reside with my husband Dale, daughters Brooke and Amber and my six dogs. My family here seems to keep growing and growing.
