Dr. Arlyne Salcedo is happy to have settled in the sunshine and enjoys birding with her spouse Charlie and being home with her 2 cats, Leo & Lily. Her special interests are geriatric feline medicine, ultrasound, surgery, orthopedics and cardiology.

What has been your most unusual moment as a veterinarian? Finding cuterebra bot fly larva in a cat’s brain and telling my first boss “I told you so”

What is your favorite vacation spot? I have always liked warm places but now I’ll do mountains and challenging hikes and bike rides
If you could give only 1 piece of advice to pet owners what would it be? Enjoy every wonderful moment!

Kelly Carver, DVM
Dr. Kelly Carver grew up in Kentucky where she began her career as a Veterinarian. She eventually operated her own practice for seven years before moving to Florida with her son to continue practicing Companion Animal Medicine.

Katie Morgan, DVM
Dr. Katie Morgan grew up in Texas before she moved to Florida. She and her dog Combo love going to the beach and boating in the beautiful Florida weather. She also owns two perfect cats named Ziva and Morris.

What has been your most rewarding moment as a veterinarian? Every time a healthy pet leaves the exam room
If you weren’t a vet, what career could you see yourself in? Whale watching tour guide in Hawaii
What do you do in your spare time? Traveling, scuba diving, enjoying the beach, fishing

What is your favorite vacation spot? Hawaii and Key West
Name 3 things people might be surprised about if they knew it about you? I get sea sick, I went sky diving once, and I consider Kenny Chesney to be my favorite country music artist of all time

Dave Craton, DVM
Dr. Craton’s began his career in veterinary medicine as a veterinary technician at age 19. He has a great passion for cats, dogs, and exotic animals, and he works well with larger dog breeds.
Attended Towson University, where he obtained his Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, and received his DVM from St. George’s University in 2010.
Dr. Craton Tells All:
What do you do in your spare time? Fishing, hiking in the wintertime, boating, and volunteering with the Florida Parrot Rescue.
Name 3 things people might be surprised about if they knew it about you? Ran a car wash for 5 years before attending vet school, used to be in a rock n’ roll cover band, and I currently have 3 dogs, 3 cats, 2 birds, and a red-tailed Boa constrictor.
Bonnie Tucker, DVM
Dr. Tucker loves everything about pets, people and staying positive at our practice. She is a natural in the ocean, having completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Marine Sciences before accomplishing her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. In her spare time, she likes to windsurf under our sunny Florida skies, play with her FOUR dogs on the beach, and she might even find time to hop over to a foreign country with her husband Jeff. The most amazing place Dr. Tucker has ever visited is the island of Palau in Micronesia. Her favorite animal is the shark and she fittingly appreciates “Jaws” as her most beloved movie of all.

Dr. Tucker Tells All:
What are some of your most interesting experience as a veterinarian? I neutered a polar bear, performed a blood transfusion on a dolphin, and resuscitated a dying lemur.
What are you known best for at Kindness Animal Hospital? My expertise in emergency medicine and critical care, and keeping calm during stressful situations.
Do you have any special talents? I play the drums and sing to my dogs – I make up the lyrics as I go along.
What would you do with a million dollars? Invest in a doggie bed and breakfast for pets and their people.
Do you have any accomplishments you’re proud of? I started up a veterinary practice in Hong Kong and had a southeastern guide dog “Tucker” named after me.
